Hey there! My name is Hope Meixler and I attend Blue Ridge HS in Arizona. I am a 4.0 student and I have lived in Pinetop all of my life, and for that, I am extremely grateful as I love Pinetop with all my heart. I couldn't have been raised in a better community or a finer town. Though with all small towns I believe there is a desire to travel- to see the bigger and better things life has to offer. And as you can guess, one of those once in a lifetime opportunities have come my way. AFS (American Field Service) has given me the opportunity to study abroad in France my junior year. This is something I have dreamed of for all my life, however, that is what it used to just be, a dream. Now this dream can come true, and I am asking you all for your help. IMG_1481.JPG 1.38 MBI will be practicing a new independence that will challenge everything I and push my limits as a person. I will learn more about myself than I can possibly imagine now. My language skills will be changed and I will come back fluent, something I could never have imagined! Along with these reasons, schools in France push academics to the max, as a dedicated student already, this will take my education to an entirely new level and challenge me in ways that will make me a more educated student and a knowledgeable person.
