This past November I traveled to Haiti and observed yogaHOPE's TIMBo (Trauma Informed Mind Body) groups in and around Port au Prince and the far north west coast of Haiti. Over 600 women a week are receiving TIMBo's mental health focused-practice through the tireless efforts of a small group of Haitian facilitators. These women are amazing in their commitment to healing, empowering themselves and taking charge of their lives in places where there is literally NO SUPPORT of any kind.
