Our Story Aged just 18 and 19, we have decided to take on the challenge of a lifetime and face Kilimanjaro for Dig Deep Charity. Setting off at the end of summer, we will spend 5 days climbing the highest free standing mountain in the world. We will announce the winner of the raffle at the end of the Summer before our climb and they will be able to pick their nominated week which they would like the caravan for.
Where is the Caravan? Check out the Caravan Park's website here: http://brooksideandcastlewood.co.uk/ About the Charity Dig Deep is a small charity which works with communities in Kenya to improve their access to clean water and sanitation. The charity is run almost entirely by volunteers, and since it was founded in 2007 they have created clean water supplies for over 25,000 people, and renewable energy supplies for the schools and orphanages of many counties.
Dig Deep works alongside these communities, local government and local charities to invest in hygiene training and use appropriate technologies. They have a focused approach to their projects and are therefore able to build long term partnerships with communities, and monitor their impact for at least 5 years to make sure they continue the intended impact.
