You may have received the devastating news about the bushfires in Tathra, a small coastal town on the Far South Coast of New South Wales. Bushfires have ravaged the close-knit, small community leaving over 100 homes damaged or destroyed. Hundreds of residents have been forced to seek shelter at evacuation centres not knowing whether they will have a home to return to. It is really horrible, gut-wrenching stuff!
It’s no surprise that the awesome community on the North Coast wants to help our friends in the Deep South of the state.
In an effort to raise funds for the families who have fallen victim to this terrible tragedy we are holding a fundraiser screening of the surf film ‘Thundercloud’. 'Thundercloud' is an independently produced surf documentary by onepalmMEDIA.com and based around one of the most spectacular days in surfing history, June 8th 2012. A swell of massive proportions arrived at Cloudbreak, (aka Thundercloud Reef) in Fiji, right in the middle of the ASP World Championship Surfing Tour Event. The film features one of Tathra’s very own, Kai Otton.
The screening will be held at 3/1 Acacia Street, Byron Bay, on Monday 26th March 2018 kicking off at 7pm. Tickets for the screening are $25 each.

If you can’t make the screening then don’t worry, you can still buy tickets to win one of these epic prizes! You don't have to be there to win! Raffle tickets are 1 for $10 or 3 for $25. The raffle will close at 5pm on 26 March 2018. Tickets will be drawn on the night of 26 March 2018. Raffle winners will be notified by email on Tuesday 27 March 2018.
