Four students, from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe New Mexico, are raising money to attend the 2018 NCORE Conference in New Orleans. NCORE (National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education) offers comprehensive Native American programming with five days of major workshops, keynote addresses, special features, and concurrent breakout sessions. Presenters from across the United States share their knowledge, expertise, and experiences from across all aspects of higher education. This will be a wonderful opportunity for IAIA students to explore the great city of New Orleans while experiencing NCORE and the educative programming. All of the attendees are leaders and community activist and scholars. The experiences they have will surely be multiplied out into their communities. Our fundraising goal of $3000 will cover hotel cost and other expenditures. Thank you for your consideration and support! 114_preview 2.jpeg 661.77 KB
