Hunter is a great kid! Fun loving, energetic, respectful, and very friendly! He loves other kids. He loves people in general! He sometimes has a hard time making or keeping friends. We've had a rough year; behavior problems, depression, etc., but we're back on track, and doing GREAT! Hunter has never been to summer camp. He will be going to a 2 day camp in just over a week; Camp Kaleidoscope. This is a camp for children on the spectrum or with other special needs diagnoses. I recently discovered Camp Lake Stephens, and they even have Stephen's sessions for children on the high end of the spectrum. My favorite parts about this camp are A. It's Christian based, and B. they integrate their Stephens session campers into the regular camp. Hunter is just like any other child. He enjoys playing and having a good time. He just sees the world just a little differently sometimes. I would love for him to be able to make friends in an environment that encourages fun.
