Despite a resource lacking and unforgiving environment, the Sonoran Desert Butterfly somehow defies the odds, survives, transforms, and thrives. Inspired by this phenomenon, The Sonoran Initiative (TSI) seeks and support dynamic young men and women from deserving urban communities who demonstrate grit and a strong desire to permanently transform their lives and circumstances.

Nearly 500,000 people, roughly 20% of Miami’s population, live in poverty. We can help end this cycle for our Fellows… permanently!

TSI's mission is to end generational poverty for our Fellows by providing education and connection in Miami’s top emerging markets, leading to higher level income opportunities and real-life skills. We complement our curriculum with holistic supportive services which include therapeutic mental wellness, expression through art, an expanded network, exceptional mentorship from industry experts and community reinvestment projects.

Our cohort and feature documentary film launched with an executive style retreat last summer. We will launch 4 additional cohorts in Miami and have a strategic roadmap which will expand TSI into Philadelphia, New York, Atlanta and Chicago.

Generational poverty is an epidemic we can and will impact, powerfully! Your support of this awesome raffle will help us fund:
