Shepherds Gift is a grassroots nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote ovine (sheep sourced) GM1 for the treatment of Huntington’s Disease (HD). 

Huntington’s Disease is a dominate genetic disorder that is 100% fatal. The patients of Huntington’s lose cognitive function over time until they are no longer able to complete basic body functions. The affliction of this disease not only devastates the individual but also their families. In 2017, the GM1 molecule was shown to reverse symptoms in mice with Huntington’s disease.  The molecule GM1 is found naturally in all mammal brains and has been used in the past to treat peripheral neuropathies and has shown promise in treating Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and Spinal Injuries. All proceeds of the raffle will be used to fund ovine sourced GM1 preclinical research with the goal of human clinical trials.
