Raffle proceeds will benefit Gary Taylor Dance in Pinehurst, NC, the area's only not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) dance company, and will allow us to provide opportunities for students at Title I schools to attend a performance free of charge—an initiative that is SO important given the precarious status of arts funding in our schools!
While all of us who love and appreciate the arts realize the importance of bringing dance to our community, especially to our children, it is truly a labor of love. Ticket sales don't even begin to recoup the total cost of a high-quality stage production. In fact, box office proceeds cover only about 25% of the operating budget for our performances, which is why we depend so heavily on the shared vision of our sponsors and patrons. Your commitment to bringing talented artists to the Sandhills is deeply appreciated.
