Hello, my name is Andrew. I am a middle school teacher in Florida who believes deeply in the educational value of travel. I am holding this raffle to help offset the cost of student travel to Ecuador this summer. Student travelers will spend a week in Ecuador, where they will travel into the Amazon basin to provide 9 hours of community service work geared to improving educational outcomes in local indigenous communities. The benefits of  travel for students are immeasurable, from increased confidence, stronger leadership skills, better understanding of global perspectives, personal growth, a leg up on college application essays and earning a high school credit.
