In July of 2010 firefighter Williamson a 30yr old married father of two and seven year veteran of the Poquonnock Bridge Fire Department IAFF L2704  lost a year long courageous battle with cancer. To honor his commitment to public service, a relief fund to aid local firefighters whom fall ill and need financial support was created, along with a local scholarship. The scholarship is given to a graduating seniors in eastern CT. 

The Eastern CT Emerald Society has seen first hand the benefits of this fund and its important mission in serving first responder's in need. We have teamed up with IAFF L2704 to run this raffle in support of the Williamson Fund. 100% of all proceeds collected from this raffle will go to the cost of operating the raffle and to the the Williamson Fund.
