CURRENT PLAYGROUND:ExistingEquipment2.jpg 1.38 MBAfter 40 years, the Hunter Park Board decided it was in dire need of park updates as our park is heavily used throughout the summer and not the safest in terms of playground equipment and shelter structures. So upon meeting with playground salesmen and construction companies, a decision was made to remodel our 2 park shelters and to remove and install new playground equipment with added fall protection. The cost was not easy to digest, coming in at a whopping $86,085 (with a community-led install)! It has been 3 short months and we are happy to announce that we have raised $55,839 through donations and grants. All of these people and businesses believed in us enough to invest in our project and we hope you will too!
Now with a little over $30,000 to go, our hopes is to sell all 2500 tickets and to have a successful dinner fundraiser where our drawing will take place via live feed if possible on February 24, 2019!
