Mayha recently tried out and made the best track team in the nation! At least that is according to national rankings 3 of the last 4 years. The North Springs girls' track team is coached by track veterans - PE Department chair Patty Carroll and gold medal Olympian and track hall of famer, Antonio McKay. Together they have helped 14 students win full scholarships in just 4 years. The girl's track team won the state championship in 2004, 2005 and again in 2015 and 2016. Mayha is no stranger to the hardwork and dedication of a student athlete. She ended her Middle School career having run the mile for Morrow Middle School and finishing each season in the top 5 runners in the county.  Her studies never take a backseat though because she started High School with two credits earned during her 8th grade year and just completed her first semester at North Springs with a 4.0 gpa.
