As you will be aware, a committee of Cottesloe Golf Club members have been managing the Charity Golf Day at Cottesloe Golf Club since 2014. We have been delighted with the support for the previous four years, with our distribution of surplus funds last year in excess of $110,000, being distributed to multiple charities in Perth.

This year we have the aim again of raising in excess of $100,000 for distribution to 5 charities.

We have been very successful in selling golf sponsorships in all naming rights and gold categories and are now in the phase of collecting quality live auction items and cash donations.

The purpose of this letter is to seek a cash donation from you to enable us to not only reach our target but to maximise our distribution to our five recipients.

For each $25 donation you will receive one entry to win a $900 bottle of 2013 Grange Hermitage valued at $900

Donations will be receipted for full tax deductibility purposes by the St Vincent de Paul Society (WA) Inc (Vinnies) and your generosity will be acknowledged on the day, both on the tables and in our sponsor, donor, player reel/slide show running on the night for all donations in excess of $500.

If we can achieve a surplus of around $115,000 then we will again achieve “bragging rights” for the largest Golf Club initiated charity day in Australia – something not achieved by any other golf club.
