PALM_CARD_FRONT.jpg 2.98 MBThe Sunny Isles Beach K-8 Children’s Fund was established over 10 years ago to provide state-of-the-art educational tools not affordable through our local School Board or tax dollars. Last year the Children’s Fund was able to raise money to build a sophisticated computer lab room. This upcoming year the Fund’s goal is to create a STEAM program known as the “Rolling With The Arts Project”. This project will incorporate technology elements allowing students to study coding, digital storytelling, creation/design and communication and collaboration. For example, students can design a 3D printed musical instrument or develop digital stories to solve challenges. The benefits of these disciplines give students the freedom to think creatively. The Fund’s goal is to raise $25,000. In order to achieve this goal, the Fund is holding a raffle for cash prizes. First prize is $5,000, 2nd prize is $2,500 and third prize is $500. What better way is there to support our school while taking a chance to turn $50 into $5,000! No more than 500 tickets will be sold. The winner will be announced at the City’s Anniversary Party on Sunday, June 2nd. Winner need not be present. Please help us achieve our goal to benefit our students!
