The Project
This newly renovated playground will be our first all inclusive community playground in our city where all children can play. The new playground will undergo a complete renovation from the ground up. 
 
This project is more than adding new equipment.  To utilize maximum space, the area will be reconstructed into two levels.  When it is complete, you will be able to take a walk around the perimeter which will also be accessible with ramps.  You will be able to play basketball on new courts as well as run and jump and play soccer on a dry field.  The family can have a picnic, the parents can enjoy watching their children play, or you can read a book from the library next door.

Bringing recreation and history together, the park will pay tribute to Marietta, Ohio as the first settlement in the Northwest Territory. With embedded historical facts and an artifact seek-and-find activity, children and the community will have the chance to learn about our area while enjoying creative play.

Playgrounds and parks do more than offer much needed space for physical activity. They activate the mind and imagination, problem-solving, and teamwork.

    The 2019 Toyota or Jeep Raffle is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Marietta Ohio and      C & C Dodge Toyota in Marietta, Ohio.  For each $100.00 donation made to the Northwest Territory Community Playground, the donor will receive one chance for their choice of one of the 3 pictured vehicles.             

    Additional chances are available for each additional $50.00 donation.
