While My Warrior's Place did not sustain much physical damage, we had to expend funds to purchase items to help us batten down the hatches so that Hurricane Irma did only minimal damage. We had many reservations cancelled and we also offered free accommodations for some who were displaced due to the storm. Additionally, our fundraiser, which was schedule for October, had to be rescheduled to February. All of this has put a huge strain on our funding so we are now in desperate need of financial assistance.
Our solution? To raffle off 4 one-way tickets anywhere Southwest flies domestically. These tickets can be combined to create 2 roundtrip tickets.
The drawing will be held on Veterans Day, November 11, 2017 between 1:00 and 2:00pm. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email to make arrangements to issue the tickets immediately.
