The South Huntington School District has partnered with SHEF (South Huntington Educational Foundation) to sponsor our sixth annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run for Saturday, May 11, 2019. The theme of the event is Miles for Michael.This “fund-racer” will benefit the district’sArt/Music and Dance programs. Last year’s run profits were used to create a recording studio for our Walt Whitman high school students. In addition, we continue in our goal to provide all of our students with musical instruments, who may not otherwise participate in our district’s wonderful musical program.
