Community Support Services is raffling off five pairs of tickets to The Black Keys concert on Monday, September 30th at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse (formerly Quicken Loans Arena). The relationship between The Black Keys and CSS goes back more than a decade. Alfred McMoore, a long-time CSS client, was a friend of the families of both members of The Black Keys, Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney. In fact, it was a frequent saying of McMoore’s, “your black key is taking too long,” that inspired the band’s name.

Proceeds from this raffle will be added to The Black Keys Alfred McMoore Memorial Fund that was established in June 2010 as a permanent income stream for Community Support Services – the local nonprofit organization that helped McMoore rise above his mental health issues and lead an active and independent life.
