The Charlotte Woodworkers Association (CWA) is a non-profit tax-exempt organization formed in 1985. Its purpose is to promote excellence in woodworking through teaching, development of individual skills and fostering interest in our craft.

Our organization maintains a fully functional shop for its members and offers classes on woodworking to the public as well as our members.  We also assist a number of other non-profit / community based organizations.  Our projects help raise money for One Special Christmas, teach Engineering Explorers how to build catapults, and assists Boy Scouts in earning the woodworking merit badge.

This raffle is one of the ways that we raise money to keep our dues low and pay for the shop and maintenance of our tools.
