Zinky's Quilts and Crafts is proud to coordinate these raffles to support the work of Sarah's Bag Ladies (SBL). Started in 2017, SBL is comprised largely of volunteers. At this time, we are mindfully gathering with small groups, including UTA students, retirement centers and local community groups to process used grocery sacks into plastic yarn. We are extremely careful to maintain social distancing, wear masks, and engage in hand-washing before and after each event.
This month, we are sharing proceeds from this raffle with SMASH, Supporting Mansfield Animal Shelter (Mansfield, Texas). SMASh is a citizen run group that comes together to support the Mansfield Animal Shelter (TX) and to reinforce positive pet ownership. Aye, Chihuahua Quilt
"Aye, Chihuahua" is a precious quilt that is not only fun to make.... It's really fun to say! This pretty-in-pink quilt measures 46” x 42”, and each of these adorable little chihuahuas has a bowtie on her head! Each block has nearly 40 pieces that are intricately sewn together to create this precious pup.
This is a 'scrappy' quilt, so every block on this quilt is different; however, these blocks come together in a wonderful harmony of pinks. The back of this quilt is a beautiful and complimentary pink and white swirl pattern.
