Sarah's Bag Ladies was started in 2017, and is comprised largely of volunteers. Click
HERE to find out more about what we do. These monthly quilt raffles help to supplement our work with college students, volunteers and the homeless in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
WHO ARE WE? We are a group of folks who are committed to both recycling and to helping the homeless in Tarrant County.
WHAT DO WE DO? We convert grocery bags into 'plarn' (plastic yarn) that is then used to crochet mats for the homeless. We have partnered with the Fort Worth and Arlington Salvation Army organizations to distribute these mats
HOW CAN YOU HELP? We are always looking for experienced crocheters to help us make mats. In addition, we depend on volunteers to collect bags and convert them into the plarn that we use to make the mats.
