The Foundation provides essential information, practical tools and inspiration to people living with Parkinson’s and funds research closely aligned with our mission – improving the lives of people living with Parkinson’s.
As an Olympic Bronze medalist and Tour de France stage winner, Davis Phinney has celebrated the most victories of any cyclist in American history. In 2000, Davis was diagnosed with Young-onset Parkinson’s disease (YOPD). Realizing that there are ways to improve the quality of his day to day living, Davis started the Davis Phinney Foundation as a way to promote and fund innovative research that demonstrates the effects and importance of exercise, speech and other elements that are critical to quality of life.

Grand Prize: Custom Bike Experience
Indigo Custom Bicycles is holding a drawing for a custom bike experience. The winner will receive a custom fit, a CAD generated frame design and a complete bike built and painted just for you! Gravel bike: Built with Columbus Zona tubing (or similar quality), Whiskey Parts No. 7 disc fork, SRAM Rival 1 drivetrain with mechanical disc brakes, Salsa cockpit and Rolf Prima Hyalite ES 700c wheels and includes a two-color paint job. Pedals are not included.
Road bike: Built with Columbus Zona tubing (or similar quality), Columbus Minimal carbon fork, SRAM Rival 22 drivetrain with rim brakes, Easton EA50 cockpit and Rolf Prima Aspin 700c wheels and includes a two-color paint job. Pedals are not included.
Cyclocross bike: Built with Columbus Zona tubing (or similar quality), Whiskey Parts No. 7 disc fork, SRAM Rival 1 drivetrain with mechanical disc brakes, Ritchey Comp cockpit and Rolf Prima Hyalite ES 700c wheels and includes a two-color paint job. Pedals are not included.
Drawing will take place on July 1, 2019 at 12:00pm EST. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone.
