For the 34th Biennial Convention, we wanted to step it up and take it to a whole new level. With four of the biggest trips we could come up with, the only problem now is trying to decide which one to choose!
One lucky winner will get to choose from the following hunts:
- 8-Day Brown Bear/Grizzly, Caribou, Black Bear Combo Hunt from The Perrins Rainy Pass Lodge, 2026 or 2027 depending on availability
- 8-Day adventure with 6 days of Musk Ox hunting for one hunter. This Canada North Outfitting Barren Ground Musk Ox hunt is without question the truest way to experience Canada’s Arctic.
- 10-Day South Africa Safari including Lion, Cape Buffalo, Sable and Spotted Hyena Combo from Motshwere Safaris & Outfitters (is exportable)
BOW OR RIFLE HUNTING ALLOWED! The drawing will be held on Saturday, April 12 at our 34th Biennial Convention in Glendale, AZ. For every 300 tickets sold, another hunt will be drawn.

The winners will all be drawn at the 2025 Pope and Young Convention and you do not need to be present to win. For every three hundred tickets sold above the initial 300 an additional winner will be drawn at convention.
So if we sell 600+ tickets the first name drawn gets first choice of the three hunts, second name would get their choice of two remaining hunts. If we sell 1200+
tickets an additional hunt of a similar value would be added to the current choices. (TBD)
We will attempt to contact a winner if they are not in attendance to get their choice, if they cannot be contacted we will not let the later winners choose until we confirm with the earlier winner their hunt choice within reason. Ideally they will answer their phone when they are drawn
In terms of the additional info on the hunts such as conditions, lodging, etc. I would direct those questions to the listed outfitters.
