As in the past, HMI Alumni will be hosting a 50/50 Raffle at the Department of Health Management and Informatics yearly Fall Institute, to benefit HMIGSA. For alumni, family, and friends new to Fall Institute, this is an annual alumni event hosted by the University of Missouri Department of Health Management & Informatics geared toward the professional development of both practicing and future healthcare professionals. It is an opportunity for attendees to network with other like-minded healthcare leaders, meet and support current students, and to earn continuing education credits. All current HMI Students are required to attend, and many alumni travel to Columbia each year to attend the annual meeting. The events of the Fall Institute include roundtable and panel discussions, workshops, and speakers.
HMIGSA is the graduate student association for the University of Missouri Department of Health Management & Informatics, that seeks to provide meaningful professional and social relationships among alumni, faculty and health care professionals within the industry. Proceeds of this raffle will go towards sending members to professional conferences and educational events throughout the year.
