Camp Time Kids (CTK) has begun running it's monthly raffles to support the CTK program at diabetes camps in the states of Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania.  Camp Time Kids was formed as a volunteer project at a camp in Ohio, and is in its second year running.  The programs success boasts it simplicity as being a PROGRAM and not a 501c3, where yet another layer of a non profit  and Board of Directors would have to be involved.  We function instead as a team with other groups as us, to get the children to camp. "BE A PART OF IT" ( BAPOI ) has many six other programs/movements and partners it is setup to support; emergency insulin, adult education and support, lobbying for lowered insulin costs...etc. Recently the headway made and new presence of celebrity supporters in the #insulinforall movement hit the media with supporters from individuals, foundations and celebrities, and proof that we can all work together. 

One conversation with another foundation said we are all trying to do the same thing. To accomplish this teaming up together as one voice and movement for each cause made sense.  CTK specifically focuses on working with sponsors whether, individuals, corporations or foundations, regionally and nationally to send the children to camp.   Any child who wants to go to diabetes camp can go and we can help cover costs.  All sponsors pay the non-profit of attendance camp directly with their donations for the children. Camp Time Kids is a program and not an entity.

Our goal is to get every child to camp, on child at a time, one camp at a time!

The monthly raffles go to provide incentive to the children to support the program, and in that each child that is part of the program this year receives a "Dog Tag" chain for camp of 2019 CTK list.  Monies raised here help pay for these items.  There are no paid salaries under the BAPOI or CTK program; this is all volunteer.
