Northern Virginia Beekeepers would like to encourage its members to attend the Eastern Apiculture Society (EAS) Annual Conference. The 2019 annual conference is in Greenville, SC over the period from July 15-19.

The Eastern Apicultural Society of North America, Inc. (EAS) is an international non-profit educational organization founded in 1955 for the promotion of bee culture, education of beekeepers, certification of Master Beekeepers, and excellence in bee research. EAS is the largest noncommercial beekeeping organization in the United States and one of the largest in the world.

To promote attendance at EAS 2019, NVBA will reimburse up to 2 members up to the full registration fee (for a full week attendance at EAS 2019 (worth $260 for all five days (Monday, July 15th through Friday, July 19th).

NVBA board members and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.

The Prizes

    Up to $260 will be reimbursed to one NVBA member in good standing, on production of registration receipts. No other costs or expenses will be reimbursed by NVBA.
