The SWMRS Fund is dedicated to supporting organizations working on the front lines of the issues most important to us. Whether it is climate, racial, economic or gender justice, we know
that centering the most vulnerable communities will result in the
most just solutions.

SWMRS FUND BENEFICIARIES:

Climate Justice Alliance:

The Climate Justice Alliance (CJA) formed in 2013 to create a new
center of gravity in the climate movement by uniting frontline communities and
organizations into a formidable force. Our translocal organizing strategy and
mobilizing capacity is building a Just Transition away from extractive systems
of production, consumption and political oppression, and towards resilient,
regenerative and equitable economies. We believe that the process of
transition must place race, gender and class at the center of the
solutions equation in order to make it a truly Just Transition.

Girls Rock Camp Alliance:

The Girls Rock Camp Alliance is an international membership
network of youth-centered arts and social justice organizations. We provide
resources and space for community building to our membership in order to build
a strong movement for collective liberation.

National Bail Fund Network:

The National Bail Fund Network is a national project that works with
organizers, advocates, and legal providers across the country that are using,
or contemplating using, community bail funds as part of efforts to radically
change local bail systems and reduce incarceration. The Network was
established in September 2016 and is made up of over 40 community bail
funds that use the regular payment of bail as well as strategic bail out actions
in campaigns to end money bail and pretrial detention in both the criminal
legal and immigration detention systems. Find more information on the money

Third Wave Fund:

Third Wave Fund is the only activist fund led by and for women of color,
intersex, queer, and trans folks under 35 years old in the US. We ensure
young women, queer, and trans youth of color have the tools and resources
they need to lead powerful movements, and that they have a seat at the table
within philanthropy. Third Wave supports gender justice groups from the
ground up with rapid response grants, long-term funding for emerging groups,
and capacity building.
