Second time lucky hey !! For those that dont know this will be my second attempt at completing the ride. Whilst training to complete the ride in 2016 I had an unfortunate accident which resulted in me missing the ride ( as well as a few rather pricey face plates added to my head)
That being said it will not keep me from going a second time, this time I want to make up for what I would have missed out in 2016. In 2017 I will pushing to achieve the full 1600 in 16 days.
I have been close to Thailand for many years. I flew in Bangkok on the day of the Tsunami and got to see the devastation it had caused and speak to survivors. Little did i know the extent until I read Peter Baines book describing the aftermath.
That was over 10 years ago now but still the need is there. The charity is still 100% funded by donations and by riders.
I am looking to raise the remaining funds by raffling off all of this alcohol which I have donated and have been donated by my friends. I can carry these to Australia and UK so please help if you can in supporting me ! Rest assured every dollar you spend will go to the orphanages!! Many Thanks Sean
