Blessings In Disguise is a volunteer based 501c3 non profit based in Ohio founded in 2014. Our mission is to provide durable medical equipment for free to seniors who can't afford it and we also provide rent/mortgage assistance, car payment assistance, and utility bill assistance, to lower middle class /and middle class who are faced with FMLA, short term disability, workers compensation, and unemployment assistance all in the metro area in Toledo Ohio.
We will positively impact more than 600 people/families with our services in 2020 on a budget less than $30,000. This year, the Covid 19 pandemic has eliminated 2 of our senior events where we collect durable medical equipment from the community to repurpose and give back out to seniors in need. It has also took away our ability to host our largest fundraiser..."The Ugly Christmas Sweater Dance Fever Party" which provides the funding for 90% of our mission.
We are raising money to supplement what we have lost due to Covid- 19 and to continue purchasing durable medical items seniors so urgently need. Please help us help our community.
