I am so proud to say my sister will be riding the Pan-Mass Challenge in a few weeks. She has been training hard and taking on this ride with a full heart. Let's help her reach the goal of raising $5,000 which will go to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Hear are her words:
Hi Everyone!
I am excited to take part in this year's Pan Mass Challenge. On August 3rd and 4th I will be riding close to 200 miles from Sturbridge, Mass to Provincetown. Riding the 200 miles will be very tough but pales in comparision to anyone battling cancer. I am reaching out to friends and family to ask for your support in hopes that one day we can find a cure to end cancer.
I am riding for my aunt, June Stevens and my uncle, Paul Shaughnessy, who both lost their battle with cancer. I am riding for those currently battling cancer and putting up a great fight. I am riding for those who have had cancer and currently in remission. May it never come back. And lastly I am riding for family and friends who's lives are forever changed when a cancer diagnosis has been made.
Thank you so much for your support! xoxo

The mission of the Pan-Mass Challenge is to raise money for life-saving cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. The catalyst for the fundraising effort is a bike-a-thon that crosses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Committed cyclists, volunteers, corporate sponsors, and individual financial contributors are essential to the PMC achieving this goal. Since its founding in 1980, the PMC has been increasingly successful in mobilizing the support of all these constituencies. We strive to inspire even more proponents of our cause and intend the money we raise to afford Dana-Farber's doctors and researchers the resources necessary to discover cures for all cancers.
