Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Studios is running its inaugural fundraiser for two specific projects- the fit-out of its Ceramics Studio and the development and material costs for its Sci Fi, Posthuman exhibition opening in mid October 2019.

These projects embody the scope of the art centre's mission: to connect North Shore and Sydney audiences with innovative and cutting edge contemporary art practice, promoting interest in craft-based creative arts and supporting both traditional and contemporary approaches to Ceramics.

Your generosity will
a) support a very exciting art exhibition in Sydney across 2 venues (the second being Galerie Pompom)
AND
b) you're contributing to much needed equipment for a Ceramics Studio - with said equipment available for hire on site!

Even better, attend our fundraising dinner on Friday 26 July at the Gallery against the wonderful backdrop of Peter Day's 72 artwork survey exhibition.

For $150 per person, you will enjoy the delicious canapes and 2 course meal designed by Jon-Patrick complete with welcome champagne and fine wine by Bird and Barrel. There is special entertainment on the night and 8 artworks by 8 notable artists for auction. Attendees will get an insiders view of the Sci Fi exhibition in development.

The Prizes

  • First Prize: Harley Davidson Jacket worth $800

    The leather jacket is not just biker cool, it is reminiscent of Sci-Fi characters on screen (i.e. it certainly speaks to the theme of our Sci-Fi exhibition). Think about the number of times you have seen Sci Fi shows with the leads in leather. Yes, you get the picture. 

  • Second Prize: Portrait drawn by Artist-in-Residence Tilly Lees worth over $400

    Experience having your portrait drawn by a professional artist - in an artist studio.  Tilly Lees, the artist-in-residence at Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Studios will complete your portrait in one sitting, ready for you to take home at the end of the session.

  • Third Prize: Adults Ceramics 9 Week Term Class with Clay Supplies worth $360

    Clay curious? You'll appreciate this prize to learn how to make pots, vases and all on a potter's wheel plus other hand building techniques. This 9 week Saturday term class (3 hours per session) will certainly get you hooked. Taught by our very capable ceramics teacher Janine Flew.


  • Childrens Ceramics 9 Week Term Class worth $230

    Experience having your portrait drawn by a professional artist - in an artist studio.  Tilly Lees, the artist-in-residence at Gallery Lane Cove + Creative Studios will complete your portrait in one sitting, ready for you to take home at the end of the session. 

  • Little Red Robin Restaurant and Wine Bar Voucher

    Little Red Robin is a new fancy restaurant and wine bar joint at Lane Cove. These lovely lovers of art have kindly donated a voucher worth $150 for a lucky winner.
