Big Geary recently got diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer, which has spread into his bones and lungs. On behalf of him and his family we are asking your help to ease the financial burden that we will be enduring. 

His treatment will start with Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) which will fight the bone cancer.  His wonderful oncologists at Gene Upshaw Cancer Memorial Tahoe Forest Center in Truckee recommend Geary starts with 3-5 of these specific radiation treatments.  He can start the next part of his treatment when the radiation is finished, this includes targeted therapy that he will be taking twice a day and also immuno infusions every three weeks. However, the insurance company wants him to do a 20-day radiation treatment instead; puting him a month behind his treatment to tackle his metastisized kidney cancer.     

Despite what his insurance company says, we are trying to start his SBRT treatments right away. Big Geary is in an immense amount of pain and needs all the help he can get to be put on the right path.
