The Mission of VSS (Veterans Support Solutions, L3c) is to enhance the quality of life for Veterans and their families through creative support services, responsive career planning, and participating in and collaborating with local community agencies for the benefit of uniformed service personnel, their families and survivors – including Active Duty, Reserves, National Guard and Retirees.
The VSS Women’s Retreat, (now in our 7th year) is an ambitious annual outreach where we host up to 25 Veteran Women in a 3-day Weekend Camping and Retreat Program in a Colorado Mountain setting. Through the Retreat VSS's volunteer staff helps develop and offer a team-building environment where the women can participate in a series of individual personal development seminars and educational tracks designed to uplift and re-charge these Veteran Women who have experienced difficult challenges in coming back into society after their military duty, and help them to adjust to and triumph over everyday life challenges. By offering a combination of personal self-awareness education, team sports, and camping activities, these women can connect with each other, on a personal and group level, to help them unite as one.
