The
Gordon Brown Fellowship was created to facilitate a college education for Los Angeles inner city youth who might not otherwise have the opportunity. To date the Fellowship has supported over fifty high school graduates who have matriculated into various colleges throughout the country. The Fellowship provides mentors, internships, guidance and financial support throughout their college career. The program is led by Maynard Brown, Magnet teacher and co-founder of the Fellowship and works in partnership with Junior Achievement.
The Toscana/Monteverdi/Gordon Brown Raffle was created to coincide with two extraordinary dinners designed by Executive Chef Luca Crestanelli of
Toscana and visiting guest chef Giancarla Bodoni of
Monteverdi Tuscany. The first dinner will be an in-house
Specials Dinner featuring the culinary creativity of Chef Bodoni on
Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Toscana. Next is the exclusive
Casanova di Neri Winemaker Dinner on
November 13, 2019, a collaborative culinary creation by Chefs Giancarla and Luca. Their menu will be paired with the highly-rated and anticipated 2015 Brunello di Montalcino, bottled by the gifted Winemaker Giacomo Neri of
Casanova di Neri. Seating for the winemaker dinner is extremely limited.
Raffle winners will be chosen following the Winemaker Dinner on November 13, 2019.
All proceeds of the Dinner and Raffle will go directly to the Gordon Brown Fellowship. #RF0013506
