Dawn Barham and the MSMS Blue Notes are raising funds for the Annual Sites & Sounds Tour. The Tour is a cross curricular program that takes place each fall at MSMS. The vocal and instrumental performing ensembles, collectively known as the MSMS Blue Notes, prepare an exciting and dynamic program of music, all with ties to the birthplace of America’s music – Mississippi! The Blue Notes then hit the road to perform for audiences ranging from middle schoolers to senior citizens. Audiences will experience blues, jazz, spirituals, gospel, country, soul and early rock and roll. The Blue Notes take in museums, historical markers and other sites of interest during the tour MSMS Music Program.
