The Academy of Richmond County baseball team is in need of new equipment, new uniforms and facility upgrades. Although the complex is relatively new, there are not funds available to maintain the field and dugouts. The field is in disrepair from being in the elements and much work is needed to get it in good condition. The equipment, such as uniforms, catcher's gear, batting helmets, gloves, etc., has been used for many years and needs to be replaced after much wear and tear.
