Raffle Terms and Conditions of Participation
1. This raffle is open to anyone age 18 years or older who is a US citizen except for Southern University Alumni Federation Houston Chapter Executive Council members and advisors.
2. A minimum of 500 tickets will be sold before a winner is selected.
3. Under no circumstances will fewer tickets be sold than are required to award prizes unless the contest must be terminated for reasons beyond the control of Southern University Alumni Federation Houston Chapter.
4. The prizes and values are broken down as follows: 1st Place: an all-inclusive 8-days, 7-nights stay at your choice of one of the following resorts: Secrets Aura Cozumel, Secrets Huatulco or Secrets Vallarta Bay Puerto Vallarta for 2 adults; 2nd Place – $1000 worth of home repair/renovations (labor) from Basal Construction; 3rd Place – Two tickets to a 2019-2020 Houston Rockets Basketball Game
5. Blackout dates may apply and 1st place winner has 1 year from the drawing date to take the trip.
6. Dates are based upon resort availability.
7. Winner will be randomly drawn live at the Annual Mardi Gras Scholarship Gala on February 1, 2020.
8. Winner does not need to be present to win.
9. Winner will be notified by phone and/or email.
10. Winner agrees to having his/her images in social media as it pertains to raffle.
11. Southern University Alumni Federation Houston Chapter assumes no liability regarding the products offered with the raffle.
12. The price of the raffle ticket is non-refundable, and the prizes have no optional cash or resell value.
13. 1st place winner must give at least 60-days notice to obtain a reservation date.
