“With the scholarship's financial support, I gained flying hours to enhance my aviation résumé. This helped me get hired as a C-17 pilot at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, which has been my lifelong career goal. Earning the scholarship meant so much to me because it created opportunities that I had only dreamed of throughout my life.” - Logan Coy Sisca, 2018 Scholarship Recipient
“When an entire pilots association gets behind you it really boosts your own belief in yourself. Since receiving the scholarship earned my private, instrument, commercial, multi-engine, flight instructor, CFI-Instrument, Instrument Ground Instructor, and Advanced Ground Instructor while studying Finance at Miami University’s Farmer School of Business.” - Griffin James, 2016 Scholarship Recipient
Raffle Drawing Postponement Announcement
Due to COVID-19, Ohio’s Governor Mike Dewine and Ohio Director of Health Amy Acton have issued a “Stay At Home Order” in effect until at least 4/6/20 for non-essential activities. It is with deep regret that we are announcing the postponement of our raffle drawing. It is the unanimous opinion of ECOPA’s raffle committee to respect this order as responsible citizens of Ohio
Out of respect for those who have already purchased tickets and as per our Terms and Conditions, Line Item #2 “Ticket sales will cease when 4,000 tickets have been sold or at 1:00 AM on April 4, 2020, whichever occurs first. In the event anyone buys a ticket after the 4,000 allocated tickets have been sold, such purchase will be refunded.”
As of 3/27/20, there is speculation by the Ohio Governor’s Office that this “Stay at Home Order” may be extended until the end of April. In view of that speculation, we are TENTATIVELY rescheduling the pulling of our winning tickets on May 9, 2020.
You can visit our website (ecopapilot.com) for updates regarding the revised drawing date and for additional information.
Please accept our deepest apologies for this postponement as we all look forward to getting back to some degree of normalcy. Thank you in advance for your understanding of this matter.
Upgraded Panel is Complete! We are excited to announce that the upgrades to the panel have been completed. This is a beautiful plane!
