Danny's  Safe Place is a nonprofit organization that helps those impacted by domestic violence.   Our organization is hosting this auction to raise money for our annual mother-daughter retreat.  This retreat is a 4-day healing retreat for mothers and daughters impacted by domestic violence.   According to the Office on Women's Health - U.S. Department of Health and Human Services More than 15 million children in the United States live in homes in which domestic violence has happened at least once.

This retreat will teach young girls how to identify unhealthy relationships and how to safely escape them. We will also help build self-confidence and healthy dialogue between mother and child that in most cases does not exist before.  We are aiming to break the cycle of domestic violence.
