Warrior Bonfire Program is a 501c3 organization committed to providing opportunities that improve the lives of Purple Heart recipients on their life long journey of recovery and healing, with focus on creating activity-based, stress-free environments that promote camaraderie and therapeutic healing.

The program will have 6 veterans attend a turkey hunt retreat in Como, Ms. The guys will enjoy time together while turkey hunting, attending an Ole Miss baseball game,  conversations around a bonfire and other activities. The money raised will go towards food, travel and activities for the veterans. 

These men and women come together during these retreats to learn they are not alone. 22 veterans commit suicide, nonprofits like Warrior Bonfire program help veterans who suffer from PTSD, TBIs, and so much more. Many suffer from survivors guilt and feel the only way to keep from suffering is to end it all. When they get together with other veterans who have been through similar situations and suffer from similar issues, they are able to find a brother or sisterhood they did not realize was there. They are not alone! We need to be able to help these veterans and that is what Warrior Bonfire does. This locally based nonprofit was started here in Mississippi. They not only help our local Purple Hearts but Purple Hearts all over. I am a wife of a Purple Heart veteran who suffers from PTSD, TBI and survivors guilt. Our life has been different since we have found Warrior Bonfire program.
