The mission of the Burundi Hope Project is to love God, love people, share the Gospel and bring hope to the people of Burundi. Our Women of Hope Ministry not only shares the love of Jesus with women but also helps with their physical needs with the provision of soap, fabric and ladies hygiene kits. Nationwide seminars also provides bibles, song books, copy books for their children and humanitarian aide when needed. All proceeds will go towards the programs of the Women of Hope ministry. During our seminars we have used quilts as examples of how the Lord brings different people together to form His church and create a beautiful Gospel message much like a quilter takes different pieces of fabric and creates beautiful quilts. 3 QUILTS HAVE BEEN DONATED: WINNER #1 CHOOSES FROM THE 3 QUILTS. WINNER #2 CHOOSES FROM THE REMAINING 2 QUILTS. WINNER #3 RECEIVES THE REMAINING QUILT. Quilt # 1: Disappearing Shoofly: quilted and donated by Fay Edwards a veteran quilter who has donated her second quilt for the ministry. This quilt is 76" x 89".
Quilt # 2 Quilted Dahlia: quilted and donated by Carole Bowman another veteran quilter for the Burundi Hope Project. This is her second donated quilt. It is 42" x 42" and has a rod pocket holder for hanging.
Quilt # 3: Aurora Borealis: quilted and donated by Vicki Copeland. Vicki donated her first quilt to the Burundi Hope Project 3 years ago. This quilt is 64 " x 79 " and has a rod pocket for hanging.
LAST YEAR WE RAISED $2500 FOR THE WOMEN OF HOPE SEWING CENTER. THIS YEAR WE WOULD WANT TO DOUBLE THAT AMOUNT FOR WOMEN OF HOPE MINISTRIES. PLEASE HELP US DO THAT!
