What seems like a long time ago, when we were able to meet in person, we would hold a "50-50" raffle. But, why are raising money with the general election now over? 

The revenues collected during our raffles used to pay for meeting facilities (when we aren’t in the pandemic), online meeting software, office supplies and outreach materials for voters.
 
 In addition to the above mentioned regular expenses, we are hoping to begin recruiting and grooming candidates for Josephine County local offices, like City Council, County Commissioner, School Boards and other local boards and committees. It is time we actively and aggressively work on having representatives in local leadership roles to address the issues that concern us in our community such as timber, homelessness, and most certainly healthcare.  
 
Help us build our reserves so that we can provide outreach and training to potential candidates, and continue to grow the Josephine County Democratic Party.  Not only will you be helping us, you will have an opportunity win your money back, or a nice bottle of wine.
