We are renewing ANPR's traditional "super-raffle" as a fundraiser.  You can "donate" for "tickets" for yourself and/or you can solicit donations for tickets from family, friends, or whomever, by sharing the raffle URL: (https://rafflecreator.com/pages/38397/anpr-super-raffle) and asking them to enter your name in the "Credit these tickets to": field, so you can get credit for the ticket(s). Or, you can seek donations from others in person, and then manually enter their information into the dashboard.

There will be a $500 gift card with Amazon prize for the most donations for tickets by an individual, and a $100 gift card with Amazon prize for the person who donates for each of the tickets drawn for the "Grand Prizes."

Although not a "Ranger Rendezvous" function as such, we will conduct the "drawing" on Friday, November 9, 2024 at the RR in Rapid City, SD (presence at the drawing is not required).

We expect that additional prizes will be added and we will send out updates periodically announcing new prizes and other information.

THE "FINE PRINT":
This raffle is being conducted by the Association of National Park Rangers (ANPR), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, at 12675 N Sunrise Shadow Drive, Marana, AZ 85658. Prizes are either donated to, or are being funded by ANPR. The raffle will close at 11:00PM EDT on November 7, 2024 and the drawing will be conducted on November 8 at 3:00PM EDT at Rapid City, SD. You do not have to be present to win. Prizes will be sent to winners by regular ground, best available. Winners can pay extra for faster shipping. No purchase or contribution is required to enter.  If you wish to get a complimentary "ticket" without donating, please email [email protected] and one ticket will be entered in the drawing in your name. • Ranger Rendezvous Quilt

An oversized throw quilt featuring T-shirts from past Rendezvous on one side and a fabric that contains NPS patches on the other. Donor: Rick Mossman and Kendra Balasz. Value: $800
  • Custom Ranger Carving

Description: Hand-carved Ranger Caricature by Rob Arnberger in Basswood and painted in acrylics; 13” tall & 10” long.
Narrative: This old Ranger is a bit fed up and tired of not getting the funding support the National Park Service needs to carry out the important job of protecting our national heritage found in our National Parks. A famous entrance sign needs repair and hangs by a single wire. Our National Park System is deeply loved and appreciated by the American people but the National Park Service entrusted to care for these very special places simply does not receive the federal budgets from our Congress to do the proper job! Every year “more” is asked of the staff in our parks while “less” is provided to do it. The National Park Ranger and the flat hat are famous icons of the Service. Fewer Rangers are protecting our parks now than a decade ago, yet the demands continue to increase. Protecting the parks is more than just infrastructure repair. Protection includes science, research, education, law enforcement, emergency response, maintenance and repair, management oversight and administrative support, and public involvement.
ANPR member/ NPS retiree Rob Arnberger. Rob was a ranger, superintendent, and regional director during his career and also a well-known woodcarver of humorous caricatures and realistic birds. Visit his website at spiritsinwood.com to learn more about his art and see more photos of his work. Value: $450.
