Howell Township Violates Constitution and Second Amendment rights!
Firearms training and practice is a constitutional right! After four years of attempted negotiations with Howell Township, Oakland Tactical located in Howell is still prohibited to build firearm range and training facility on a very safe 350 acres of land. We have sued Howell Township in Federal Court on a STRONG case based on one that forced the city of Chicago to allow ranges, we need funding to continue this lawsuit.
Prior to the Township tentative approval the Township forced us to have comprehensive safety, environmental and sound study plans and studies at substantial cost to us but had no intention of even looking at them. They have tried to bleed us of money to block the project. We are in court in front of the judge with a great chance of winning but need more money to fight the case.
Premier Precision is a firearm range and training facility proposed by Mike Paige the owner of Oakland Tactical, a firearm store in Howell Michigan. The proposed range is located at a former 352-acre gravel pit in rural Howell township. This range would have many, many benefits to both Howell township and the greater Livingston county area in addition to restoring Constitutional rights.

The proposed range is on a large property that is 1 mile long and 1/2 mile wide. Furthermore, the infrastructure and its orientation from being a former gravel pit allows for greater safety than any other location for hundreds of miles.
We are proposing a premium venue that will enhance Howell Townships value, enhance the greater Livingston county area and be a top destination site for the shooters of Michigan. Howell Township has fought, delayed and is outright denied the area of second amendment rights. Many people in Howell Township proper live on small lots or in condos that can’t go to their back yard and target shoot or familiarize themselves with firearms.
