Located in the heart of Baton Rouge, the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden is a green oasis which promotes the importance of plants and their environment to the physical, mental and spiritual well being of our community and visitors. The Gardens are fast becoming one of the most popular outdoor destinations for families and children in our region.
The Friends of LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens promote the further development of the Gardens master plan through friendship making and fund raising. Wine and Roses, the Friends elegant, annual gala held in the beautiful Rose Garden takes on a new form this year, an extravagant remote raffle affair. The Friends have curated a collection of 20 differently themed baskets that are overflowing with something for everyone. Along with the curated items, each basket contains wine glasses, wine, prosecco and a bouquet of roses. The raffle ends and tickets are drawn for each basket at 1:00 PM on November 23, 2020.
