Erin is a fighter and has been fighting an invisible enemy since she was quite young. Since Erin was 12 years old she has dealt with a gastrointestinal syndrome - has been treated for Chron's disease, soy and peanut allergies, IBS, etc. Doctors have been baffled and frustrated trying to figure out how to help her recently. Her primary doctor wants her to go to a higher level of care for further testing and treatment. We were planning to go to Mayo Clinic, but that option has fallen through. Unwilling to give up, we plan to go to Dallas, Texas next to find her help. She has suffered much lately although we won't go into great detail to preserve her dignity, but is she has been passing out from dehydration and is having to receive IV therapy weekly just to keep up with the continual fluid loss. Simply, we are ready to see her well and will go to whatever lengths needed to make that happen.
Erin is a caring young lady that will defend the weak and down-trodden, give her last dime to the poor, take care of screaming babies and rock them to sleep and she delights in making others have joy. She is a source of encouragement and help to us as both parents and in the ministry. She is a gift to our family and all who meet her - a quiet source of strength. We would appreciate your prayers, thoughts and support as we move forward to get her the help that she most certainly needs and deserves.
In order to help with the cost of Erin's medical expenses, we will be raffling off three sport's memorabilia items (one at a time) from the Dallas Cowboys. All come with authentication. More about each will be listed when that item is being raffled. Only 25 people can enter, but each person can buy as many tickets as they want. We will be drawing the winner once all slots have been filled or December 19th (whichever comes first). We will then mail the item to the winner within three days of their name being drawn. If you win, we will email you to get your mailing address.
Money raised from these raffles will go to cover Erin's medical expenses for her to go to Dallas. If there is any money left over, we will use that for Erin's, Wesley's and Angelina's Christmas as we have spent any money set back for Christmas for taking care of Erin up to now. 2020 has been a tough year.
All donations will go to Love On The Move Native American Ministries and put into a special fund for Erin's medical expenses. Once all the raffles are finished, a love offering for the total amount raised will be made to the Bakers for Erin's medical expenses.
Love On The Move Native American Ministries is a DBA of New Life Fellowship Church a 501(c)(3) charitable organization EIN 58-1620158. All contributions are tax deductible. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for the contributions.
