This charity raffle is a fundraising appeal by Edgeworthstown District Development CLG to generate funds to support our community activities. - Edgeworthstown District Development CLG is a non profit organisation and a registered charity. Established over 25 years ago, our aim is to provide facilities and services to all members of our community. With special aims to improve the health, well-being, and lifestyle of our local community.
Our services include the Green Recreational Park which has outdoor exercise equipment, astro turf pitch, tennis court, children’s playground, walking track, and pavilion building which is used by the whole community.
Our group gifted a site on the Main Street of Edgeworthstown to Longford County Council, to build a new community library which is presently under construction. Our group also was part of the establishing of childcare facilities and enterprise hub in our town.
Over the years we have established many facilities and gatherings, which include the Maria Edgeworth Centre, Literary Trail and the annual Literary Weekend which was cancelled this year 2020 due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

There is a single combined prize of a beautifully restored vintage cash register along with €1000 cash
The register was manufactured by the National Cash Register Co. and provides a substantial presence
It's a brass embossed register, Model no. 36, which was made in 1905 (Serial no. 440515). ---
