Brushton-Moira Dollars for Scholars is once again starting its fundraising efforts as a full community effort designed to help students with scholarship funds available for advanced education. Everybody believes you can’t get something for nothing today.  But, with Dollars for Scholars that is not true.  Locally raised funds are matched at many colleges, and many of which most of our students will be attending. This past June, our Local Dollars for Scholars awarded the Class of 2020 BMC graduating seniors a total of $31,450! Over the past eight years, with the help of donors and through fundraising efforts, we have been able to give out approx. $350,000 in scholarships.(not too shabby for a small community)
