Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on January 16, 1920 at Howard University in Washington, D.C. on the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has a diverse membership of more than 120,000 college-educated women with more than 800 chapters in North America, Europe, Asia, The Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East.
In January 2020, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, celebrated a momentous milestone of 100 years of existence and to date, continues to build upon the legacies of the five founders known as our Five Pearls. Last year was a tremendous year of uncertainty and change. It is our hope that we can continue to serve as a beacon to those in need. Our national initiatives are vast and varied and they include Elder Care, Stork’s Nest, Prematurity Awareness and Zetas Get Engaged (our social action initiative). Our partnerships with the March of Dimes, American Cancer Society, Women’s Veterans Rock and St. Jude Children’s Research allow us to touch many areas of our community.
Iota Theta Zeta Chapter was chartered in January 1979 by seven trailblazers who had a vision to bring about change in Nassau County communities. We are a group of professional women who are always looking to expand our outreach and empower women, men and children in our communities.
This raffle will allow us to give back to our young scholars in a meaningful way as they navigate their academic journey. We thank you for your contributions towards our annual scholarship fund!
